Music Magazine; Font research.
For this magazine, I've gone for the music genre of 'phonk' or 'drift phonk' to be more specific. Drift phonk is a sub genre of phonk which originated in russia in the late 2010's / early 2020's. Phonk is part of the lofi hip-hop 'family' and is generally used in videos with drifting cars. The genre itself is popular for its high bass and drum patterns. In terms of fonts, i feel as if using bolder and more 'unique' fonts would work best with the magazine, as well as originating with the russian roots of the genre by using russian text with an english translation. Fron Dafont.com i have chosen a font that i could use for the title of the magazine. ''FastUp'' i feel would fit well with the theme of the magazine as it's visually 'loud' and is quite bold.
